Do I need to set the temperature?
No. Ideal Temp technology keeps one safe ironing temperature, so you do not set or wait for the heat.
Can I use tap water?
Yes. Tap water leaves scale over time; use the built-in Calc-Clean slider regularly to remove it.
Why does it need a 16-amp socket?
At 2200 watts it draws more current, so it comes with a 16-amp plug. Use a matching 16-amp socket.
Why is there water in a new iron?
Steam irons are tested with water during manufacturing, so a few drops may remain in the tank.
How do I avoid water leaks?
Do not fill the tank right to the top, let the iron heat up for about 30 seconds before using steam, and keep the iron standing upright (vertical) when not in use.
What is the black version?
The Rico SI2110 is the same Magic Steam Iron in black.
What warranty does the SI2111 come with?
