We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.

SECTION 11 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Please retain this warranty card along with the tax invoice. Both the warranty card & the original purchase invoice are required to claim the warranty, if both are not there, then the warranty will be considered invalid. Additionally, you can register your details in the warranty registration section on our website, www.rico.in.

If you are unable to provide a copy of a valid warranty card and proof of purchase, we will compare the date exactly three months after the manufacture date of the products and the date of the E-warranty card and select the more beneficial of the two to serve as the de-facto purchase date

Your Rico product is warranted against manufacturing defects only for warranty period mentioned on the warranty card from the date of purchase.

Conditions of the Warranty: -

This product is designed for domestic use only. The warranty is not valid if the product is used in a commercial manner.

Repairs during warranty period shall be carried on "Carry In" basis. wherein for service the purchaser shall bring the product to the Service Center with whom the set is registered for warranty service. The warranty does not cover cost of transportation of system from place of installation to the Service Center.

For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the company's Authorized Service Centre, it is responsibility of the purchaser to contact the nearest authorized service center and bring the unit to the authorized service center at purchaser's cost and risk.

While carrying out for repair, Rico may use accessories or parts that are new or refurbished or reconditioned. Rico shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the product. The warranty extended herein is in lieu of all implied conditions and warranties under the law and is confined to the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss. The warranty in no case shall extend to payment of any monetary consideration whatsoever or the replacement or return of the products as whole, liability for consequential loss or damage is neither accepted nor is implied. This warranty is confined to the repair or replacement of defective parts. Any expenses incurred on collecting and returning the product to the customer and/or on the service personnel who will visit the customer, such as to and from conveyance, incidentals etc., shall be borne by the customer.

The warranty is not valid if the original serial number has been removed, obliterated, or altered on the product or the product has been modified or repaired by any unauthorized person.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the company’s prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.

Warranty period mentioned is based on the date recorded during product registration, the actual warranty date will be verified with the purchase invoice date.

This warranty does not apply to :-

• The product is not purchased from an Authorized Rico seller.

• Normal wear and tear of parts

• The warranty does not cover consumables, plastic, glass or rubber parts, surface coatings, body aesthetics, bulbs, Bakelite parts, rubber/nylon parts, push buttons, non-operational parts and related accessories.

• The warranty will be void if faults arise due to improper usage, faulty handling, damage during transit, the use.

of spurious parts, neglect, or accidents, as these are not covered by this warranty.

• Damages resulting from accidents, mishandling or negligence on the part of the customer and fluctuation in supply voltage.

• Defects due to causes beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to service center or to the purchaser's residence.

• The warranty is not valid if the unit is operated at an input voltage or frequency other than specified in the user manual. Any failure due to voltage fluctuations beyond the specified tolerance or damages resulting due to usage of power supply other than specified e.g.: inverters generators wrong adaptor rating etc. will not be covered under warranty.

• Warranty does not cover repairs of any accessory or free gift supplied by dealer/ rico as promotional scheme irrespective whether the same has been manufactured by Rico or some one else.

• The warranty is not valid for humming noises caused by the use of electronic fan regulators of any make.

• This warranty is confined to the first purchase of the Rico product and is non-transferrable.

Subject to the above - The defective part will be repaired / replaced free of charge for labour or materials, at our discretion & option, provide that:

• The unit is returned at your cost to our Authorized Service Centre along with the original tax purchase invoice and Warranty Card.

• Where a warranty is provided, the product or part replaced will be the property of Rico.

• The warranty card and details have been registered on our website www.rico.in

• The unit is installed, used and maintained strictly in accordance with the instructions provided.

• The unit is not opened or tampered with by anyone except our Authorized Service Centre or technician.

• This warranty is issued subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai INDIA only.

• To avoid unnecessary repairs, please study the instruction manual carefully before operation.
